GLOPACK (Granting society with LOw environmental impact innovative PACKaging) is a European Horizon 2020 innovation action that is answering to a strong requirement of today’s food industry and society in general: the food packaging with no environmental footprint that would allow extending the shelf life of food products.
YPACK is an EU-funded project with a total duration of 36 months. The project aims to scale up and validate two innovative food packaging solutions based on polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) with active properties and a passive barrier to reduce food waste by prolonging food shelf life.
the overall objective of the RES-URBIS (RESources from URban BIo-waSte) project is to integrate into a single facility and to use one main technology chain for the conversion of several types of urban bio-wastes into valuable bio-based products, while also minimizing any residual or consequent waste to be disposed of.
